Showing IBM Lotus Notes 8 On Linux Demo In Firefox On Suse Linux with Lotus Notes 8 on another Compiz Cube before Lotusphere. Whew! That's a mouthful.

Sorry about the poor audio quality. And the jiggly camera. Yes, I know the video quality is absolutely terrible.

But you gotta admit, it's still pretty cool.

BTW - My primary work environment (except for Notes Development -I'm still waiting for a Designer client) is now Notes 8 on Linux.

See y'all at Lotusphere!

Gravatar Image2 - Interesting.. that's exactly what I'm using now. 'cept throw on top of it the novell client, ifolder, iprint, and a vmware client to run XP for Notes designer. If Novell (SuSe) and IBM could actually work together AND market their way out of a cardboard box, they'd have a killer office solution.

Gravatar Image3 - If IBM would release designer/admin clients for the Mac...I would use my Dell D830 as a breakfast tray.Emoticon

NOOooooo! Just install SuSe and run it as your Domino test server. You can still eat off of it if you close the lid.
