Spanky's Place

Has it only been four years since I wrote this? Wow. It seems like a lifetime ago.

Eighteen years ago we were just starting out, and had absolutely no idea of what God had in store for us. We were living in a tiny little apartment. Our first home (a lovely double-wide in Peoria, AZ) was still a pipe-dream. We had no money, crappy jobs, and crappy cars. Our children weren't yet even twinkles. We didn't even have God (he had us of course, but this was before either one of us was saved).

But we had each other, and we had friends and family who loved us. And that was, I think, a darn good start.
