On Christmas trees

QuickImage Category Christmas

Richard Schwartz has a great thread going on over at his site. Go check it out now.

I try not to get offended by people who don't understand my religious views. I don't demand or expect Christian behavior from non-Christian people. Where & when it doesn't violate my religious beliefs, I try to understand, respect, and tolerate the religious beliefs of others. (I do however, attempt to demonstrate what being a Christian means, and am willing to answer any questions they may have). While I am evangelical in my beliefs and am more than willing to share the Good News; you won't find me on a street corner with a megaphone proclaiming the end is near and y'all better repent now or face an eternity in a lake of boiling sulphur. (I just don't believe that approach will ever win anybody for Christ.)

That being said, what I am offended by is blatant stupidity. And some Christians, in their public outcries over how the "secular" world is attacking Christmas by replacing the term "Christmas Tree" with "Holiday Tree" are right at the top of my list.

Check out the thread on Richard's site for my reasons why.
