Category LS 2005This is one of my favorite parts. I think the reason goes back to my rock & roll "crew" days. I love the pre-show buzz. Security getting last minute instructions, coordinators & planners busily chatting away while making last-minute prep stuff, the background "chirp" of walkie-talkies, shipping cases sitting everywhere, cables being strung, ....you get the picture.
Something for you "off-siters" that I didn't notice last year. The shuttle schedules are actually posted next to the shuttle drop-off points.
Registration just opened, and folks are beginning to show up.
Something really cool has happened to me this year. Folks are coming up to me to say hi. This is the first year this has happened, and it is really cool. So far Tom Duff, John Roling, and Bruce Elgort have come by. This is by far the coolest part about our industry. It's not about the technology, it's about the relationships.
Speaking of relationships, I'm going to go register now, and spend some time talking to my friends.
